I want to setup my email account in Outlook, what are the server settings?

Incoming (POP) e-mail server: pop.yourwebsite.com.au
Outgoing (SMTP) email server: smtp.yourISP.com.au

Please note:
if you are a Telstra Bigpond or Optus customer you will need to set your Outgoing e-mail server settings accordingly.

How do I transfer the email hosting to CLJ Design?

Option 1: Changing the MX Records

This is generally the easiest and most popular way to allow CLJ Design to host the email services for your domain. Your domain name will remain registered with your current domain registrar.

Contact your domain registrar (the company hosting your domain name and/or its DNS) and ask them to redirect your MX Records according to these specifications. Or, if you have access to your registrar’s control panel for your domain, you can make this change yourself.

MX record that points your domain name to: mail.cljdesign.com.au (pref 10).
Example: YOURDOMAIN.COM. IN MX 10 mail.cljdesign.com.au

Following the MX Records change, incoming email messages may be sent to either your new email account or the former account. For this reason, you should check your email at both locations for a short period to ensure that you receive all of your incoming email messages.

Once the process is complete, contact your former email provider and ask them to delete your account from their system. This will ensure that email sent to you from within their system will successfully be delivered to our email servers.

Option 2: Domain Transfers

The third option is to transfer your domain name to CLJ Design. You will not lose any time on your total investment, as time remaining on your registration from your former registrar is transferred to CLJ Design at no additional charge.

After you place your order with CLJ Design and your payment is received, CLJ Design creates email accounts by assigning a username and password for each of your employees. Most likely, you will want to create email addresses identical to those you have been using with your previous email-hosting provider.

CLJ Design will initiate the domain transfer process by sending an email to the Registrant Contact listed for your domain. (The Registrant Contact should be you or another administrator at your company). This email will request that you visit a specified link, in order to verify that you own the domain.
After you verify your ownership of the domain, CLJ Design will send a notice to your domain’s registrar. The registrar will then contact your organization to verify that you requested to transfer the domain. They may contact you by email or by phone.

After your domain is transferred and the necessary DNS records are configured, your CLJ Design hosted email domain will be active.
